What will you do as a Chemist?
Your main responsibilities:
- Prioritize tasks related to technical support to customers and development new products driven by customers.
- Generate and report results for internal and external innovation projects.
- Deliver and report results to support industrial production.
In practise:
Perform the replacement of laboratory materials necessary to carry out the activities.
Store samples and running experiments, ensuring the internal standard for correct identification, labeling, pictograms and compatibility according to CLP.
Organize transportation and sample shipment for external analysis and partners.
Handle lab- waste management according to the 3R principle including good practices for separation, reduction of contaminated wastes and optimization of collection by the
service suppliers.
Contribute to the improvement of the area's results through the achievement of goals defined in the performance indicators.
Financial Performance
Monitor the costs of the laboratory, looking after the equipment and conscientiously consuming reagents.
Assist in the control of stocks of reagents and laboratory materials, ensuring the conservation, safety and proper use of reagents, materials, instruments and equipment.
Issuing purchase requisitions for reagents and equipment as well as issuing requisitions for calibration and maintenance of equipment.
Check correctness of received invoice based on issued PO, entrance into SAP system.
Wat zoeken we?
What do we expect from our new Chemist?
- Higher education in Chemistry, pharmacy or chemical engineering
- Excellent level of English (spoken and written). Any other EU language is a plus
- Minimum one year of experience
- Knowledge in Chromatography and formulation technologies
